A festival for the whole family with music, dance, and children's attractions starting at 2 p.m. at the festival grounds in Ellmau.
The Ellmauer clubs invite you to the village festival at the Festplatz Ellmau on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Under the motto "A festival for everyone!", a varied day with music, culinary delights, and entertainment awaits you.
Starting from 11:30 a.m., a festive chicken will be offered. The official start of the festival is at 2:00 p.m. The ceremonial opening will be performed by the Federal Music Band Ellmau with their march and the subsequent opening concert. Following that, the traditional tapping of the beer barrel will take place.
For great entertainment on the main stage throughout the day, the Broatscheitl Duo (BSD) and the band Die Toten Lederhosen will provide music.
Also, the Children's Trachten Dance Group will contribute to the traditional atmosphere with a performance. For the youngest festival visitors, a diverse family program awaits: a large children's area, supervised by the parents' association of Ellmau. Additionally, a bouncy castle, face painting, and other play and activity options will provide fun and entertainment.
In the Trachtenverein tent, visitors can also expect a varied program. In the afternoon, the Ellmauer Plattler will showcase their skills before Die Bergmänner take over in the evening to ensure a lively atmosphere and great entertainment.
The festival association and all participating clubs look forward to welcoming many visitors from near and far for a joyful festival day in Ellmau.
