At the Gabonsa Festival in Innsbruck, electro fans can really get their groove on. For three days, rousing house, techno and ambient beats from international DJs thump at the former landfill site in Rossau.
For three days in summer, the old landfill site above the quarry pond in Innsbruck is transformed into a sprawling festival site for electronic music fans and dance enthusiasts. Internationally renowned DJs as well as newcomers who are well worth hearing and experiencing play here - whether techno, house, trance or drum and bass, you can really get down to it with rousing performances on stages specially designed by architects.
The festival is organized by the Gabonsa Kulturverein, a cooperation between the two initiatives Bonanza Kollektiv and Gans Anders. Innsbruck's culture and art scene can look forward to a new venue when the festival is held for the first time in summer 2025 on the site of the former landfill.
