Haller Radish Festival on Saturday, April 24, 2027 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Bachlechnerstraße and Marktanger in the heart of the old town of Hall in Tyrol
The traditional season opener in the Haller old town: On the last Saturday in April, the Tyrolean vegetable farmers celebrate the Radish Festival at the market center of their gourmet region. It's all about the red tubers – the first spring messengers of local vegetable cultivation!
At 10 a.m., the Thaur brass band and the Thaur youth Schuhplattler dancers will parade through the Haller old town, from Stiftsplatz across the Upper Town Square to the town hall. The procession will be accompanied by the Massey Ferguson vintage tractors from Thaur and the decorated radish carts.
The festival will be inaugurated with the tapping of the free beer barrel by the mayors of Hall and Thaur, together with the radish princess.
The Thaur farmers and farmwomen will take care of the visitors' culinary well-being, offering a variety of spring delicacies, radish burgers, radish soup, traditional Kiachl, and tempting homemade cakes.
Changes reserved - further information on the program to follow!
