Event Hochfügen Hightrails Festival

The Hochfügen Hightrails Festival has two different running courses on the program: the Hightrail Run with the Gilfert as the course highlight and the FunRun with a 3-person team ranking and an individual ranking.

Description

At the Hochfügen Hightrails Festival, recreational and professional runners embark on scenically unique routes in the Tux Alps. Two variants are available.

The HightrailRun is aimed at all amateur and professional trail runners who have more stamina, as the route is quite challenging with its 17.7 kilometers and 1,250 meters of elevation gain. On the other hand, the Gilfert loop is particularly beautiful. The summit of the Gilfert (2,506 meters) is also the highest point of the route. There are two refreshment stops along the way.

If you wish, you can also run the FunRun, an alpine round through Hochfügen with a distance of 5 kilometers and 221 meters in altitude. There is a refreshment station along the route at the foot of the Pfaffenbichl through sparse mountain forests and across green alpine pastures. The FunRun can also be completed in teams, for example as a company run.
