Description

Sounds from the Middle Ages to early classical music can be heard at the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music - at around 30 historical venues in Innsbruck and the surrounding area. Every year, the renowned festival under the direction of artistic director Eva-Maria Sens and musical director Ottavio Dantone brings young talents and well-known artists to the stage

The program includes operas, chamber concerts, open-air events, lunch concerts, workshop formats and discussions. The Cesti competition for baroque singing is very popular. Here, young singers are awarded cash prizes or engagements at renowned opera houses following a competition.

Some formats take place free of charge. Tickets are available in various price categories.
