What is reality? Karl Valentin turns it upside down with his unmistakable wit. Through twisted words, absurd situations, and surprising perspectives, he opens a humorous view of the world – often revealing a deep underlying meaning.
In their scenic reading, Tina Nicole v. Falkenstein and Jürgen Wegscheider approach the work of the "philosopher of the common people" in their own comedic way. They present well-known and lesser-known pieces from Valentin's pen – including "Semmelnknödeln," "Die Fremden," "Father and Son about the War," "Transport Difficulties," and of course, "The Bookbinder Wanninger."
An evening to laugh, reflect, and view the world through different eyes.
