Event Karwendelmarsch

The Karwendel March is a real festival for hiking fans every year. You can imagine the atmosphere among the 2,500 participants when the starting signal is given.

Description

Since 2009, the Karwendel March has been attracting long-distance hikers, Nordic walkers, runners and countless spectators every year on the last Saturday in August. The rush for the 2,500 starting places is huge every year.

Participants start at 6 a.m. in Scharnitz on the 35 or 52-kilometre route through the Karwendel to Pertisau am Achensee. In addition to the physical challenge, participants can expect unique nature experiences in a pristine landscape. Ten refreshment stations offer regional delicacies for refreshment.
