This year, the Tyrolean Open-Air Museum in Kramsach is once again organizing the Kirchtag with field mass as well as a musical and historical programme. Dancing is also allowed - on the green meadow.
The Kramsacher Kirchtag at the Museum of Tyrolean Farms in Kramsach takes place every year on the last Sunday in September and is one of the most important traditional festivals in the Tyrolean lowlands.
It begins at 9:30 am with a festive procession of music bands, rifle companies, guests of honor and the "Wildschönauer Sturmlöda", followed by a field mass at 10 am.
Visitors can enjoy traditional craft demonstrations (e.g. basket weaving, pottery, quill embroidery), regional specialties such as Kiachl, Krapfen or Prügeltorte and music in the historic farmhouse parlors.
Particularly noteworthy: in 2025, the Kirchtag will mark the 50th anniversary of the museum and will be celebrated with additional festivities.
