1st International Crib Symposium 2026

The Krippenschule Peter Riml invites you to the 1st International Nativity Scene Symposium in Wenns in the Pitztal.
The Nativity Scene Symposium combines craftsmanship quality, creative inspiration, and international encounters – a special event week for everyone who lives the art of nativity scenes with passion.
At the center are ten workshops led by renowned speakers from Austria, Germany, and Italy. Each participant will attend two workshops, where traditional craft techniques and modern design methods are taught in a hands-on manner. The offerings range from diorama and figure construction to figure clothing and gilding, as well as background painting and LED lighting.
The program is complemented by a celebratory lecture, a varied ancillary program, and numerous opportunities for international exchange. Participation is also possible without room booking. The package includes full board at Hotel Pitztalerhof.
