Movement that connects
Long before Johann Strauss the elder composed his waltz "Life is a Dance or Dance is Life!" in 1831, people moved to rhythms, sounds, rituals, and festivities. Dance is one of the most original forms of human expression – it creates communication, brings community into movement, and gives feelings immediate form. The Kufstein Podium 2026 picks up on this connection and brings together music from various eras with dance and literary impulses.
The educators of the Kufstein State Music School
The educators of the Kufstein State Music School and its surroundings not only impart musical, dance, and acting skills – many of them regularly perform themselves as soloists, ensemble members, conductors, or actors on stage. They will showcase their own artistic work together at the Kufstein Podium.
