Description

The "Stummer Schrei" International Cultural Festival in the town of Stumm in the Zillertal is a refreshing mix of theater performances, exhibitions, concerts, readings, and film screenings. Each year, the festival focuses on different themes. Since 2004, local and international artists have come together here to engage with the audience and inspire them with works that go beyond the mainstream.

In keeping with the vision of its founder, actor Roland Silbernagel, and the “Stummer Schrei” cultural association behind it, the festival offers a stage for traditional, time-honored, new, and experimental art—often with a direct connection to the region.
