Every summer, the International Cultural Festival Silent Scream in the Zillertal brings together the forces of a small community to create new, enchanting and inspiring art.

Description

The Stummer Schrei International Cultural Festival in the municipality of Stumm in the Zillertal is a refreshing mix of theater performances, exhibitions, concerts, readings and film screenings. Each year the focus is different. Since 2004, local and international artists have been coming together here, engaging in conversation with the audience and inspiring with works outside the mainstream.

In the spirit of founder and actor Roland Silbernagel and the cultural association behind it, "Stummer Schrei", the festival offers a stage for traditional, tried-and-tested, new and experimental art that often has a direct connection to the region.
