Event Light installations - Lichterpark Seefeld

Seefeld, from 01. Nov 2025 until 06. Jan 2026

Starting from early November, Seefeld (in the Kurpark, at the village square, near the Olympic pool, and Seekirchl) captivates with atmospheric light installations that warm the heart with their sparkling atmosphere. Since the Christmas market is also just “around the corner” in the historic town center from the first Advent weekend (November 21, 2025), particularly lovely strolling routes through Seefeld are created and the shops in the pedestrian zone invite you to do some Advent shopping. A careful approach to light emissions, a long lifespan of the applied LED lighting fixtures, and low energy consumption were prioritized during the project implementation.

Description

Starting from early November, Seefeld (in the Kurpark, at the village square, near the Olympiabad pool, and Seekirchl) captivates with atmospheric light installations. Special highlights include the Fir Tree by Peter Rimark (Slovakia), located near the Olympic pool, which conveys a calm and festive mood with its clear, modern lines. The two swings, also located near the Olympic pool, invite visitors to playfully experience the winter landscape and blend harmoniously into the scenery. Additionally, a backlit cross-country skier in the pedestrian zone perfectly integrates into the cross-country skiing region and emphasizes Seefeld's sporty flair. All these light motifs and many more await visitors in the pedestrian zone and in the Seefeld Light Park, where a sparkling atmosphere warms the heart. More information here.

From the 1st weekend of Advent (starting on 21.11.2025), the Christmas market in the historic town centre is also just around the corner, you can take a particularly pleasant stroll through snow-covered Seefeld. And because the delicacies, shops and stalls up here are so inviting to taste, the use of the buses and regional train is highly recommended.

Careful handling of light emissions, a long service life for the LED lighting fixtures used and low energy consumption were given priority in the implementation of the project.
