For one week, the chamber music festival offers concerts with unusual line-ups and rare, almost forgotten instruments. Visitors not only get to hear classical music, but also folk and jazz.
A top-class line-up, a personal atmosphere and low-threshold thanks to moderate ticket prices - "listening closely" has become a permanent institution for fans of chamber music. The concerts, curated by Tyrolean composer and pianist Thomas Larcher, take place at various locations in Wattens, Innsbruck and Schwaz and allow for a very fine listening experience. The program includes works by Thomas Preston, Beethoven, Debussy, Schumann, John Dowland and Louis Andriessen.
In two portrait concerts, the audience can get to know the Featured Artist, a young local musician with international potential. In addition, there is an annual education program in which guest musicians give master classes at the Wattens Music School and the Tyrolean State Conservatory.
