Organ music in the parish church of Hall in Tirol – Introduction to Advent and Christmas
For more than twelve years, the thirty-minute organ concerts in the parish church of Hall in Tirol have accompanied the special times of the church year. They were initiated in collaboration with Michael Schöch and Hannes Chr. Hadwiger. Since then, the concert series not only provides musical accompaniment through Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter but also serves as a platform for artists and young talents working in Tyrol.
The first concert of this year's Advent season will take place on Saturday, November 28, 2026, from 11.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. in the parish church of Hall in Tirol.
The focus of these organ plays is on compositions by DUPRÉ. The program is complemented by works from Johann Sebastian Bach and other composers, who make the spirit of Advent and Christmas musically tangible.
