Jazz fans, instrumentalists and vocalists come together every year at the Outreach Music Festival in Schwaz. Founded in 1993 by New York-based jazz trumpeter Franz Hackl, this festival has a long tradition. Genre boundaries are also crossed here when jazz meets funk, electronic or classical music.

In addition to performances by international jazz and rock greats and more intimate evening concerts, the program includes various workshops at the "Outreach Academy" for making music together. There are also workshop formats for children and young people as well as panel discussions.

The events take place at various venues in Schwaz, with the main stage located in the SZentrum.
