On December 4, 2026, a ghastly spectacle will take place in the pedestrian zone of Seefeld. 30 Tuifl groups from the entire Alpine region will jointly provide true moments of horror starting at 18:00. The traditional finale of the Krampus run will take place in the Kurpark Seefeld. There, the groups will be presented one by one with a small performance. Afterwards, there will be an aftershow party in the tent at the parking lot Zentrum, where no one will have to be scared anymore, thanks to DJ music, food, and drinks.
On December 4, 2025, a creepy spectacle will take place in the Seefeld pedestrian zone. 30 Tuifl groups from the entire Alpine region will come together starting at 18:00 for some real spooky moments.
Due to the high expected number of visitors, this year's Krampus run route will be extended by a few meters. Please spread out along the entire route so that you have the best view of the many impressive Krampus groups.
Every year, guests and locals alike look forward to seeing the dark figures showcase this special custom in Seefeld. Especially the younger audience can hardly wait for the Krampuses to leave their hiding places and reveal their masks. But as soon as the first dull bells and the cracking of the switches can be heard near the Hotel Klosterbräu, even the last cheeky child falls silent and tends to seek refuge behind mom and dad or another strong companion. Because then the Tuifl and Krampuses are on the loose in Seefeld!
Tradition with Switch, Measure, and Aim
Those who have experienced a Krampus run in Seefeld know that it is a bit more traditional here than at many other Krampus runs. While bengal fires are lit and smaller shows are presented, the Tuifl remain true to the Krampus and sometimes use their switches to give a little nudge to those who are brave and cheeky. “Of course, it won’t be rough” explains Daniel (Danny) White, who has been organizing the Krampus run in Seefeld for about 15 years. Everything has measure and aim. “But especially among the young visitors, the thrill should remain, will the Krampus catch me today or not.”
Groups from Far Away
30 groups participated in 2025, some came from far away. The Seefeld Krampus run enjoys an excellent reputation not only among guests but also in Tuifl circles.
Final and Aftershow Party
The traditional finale of the Krampus run takes place in Kurpark Seefeld. There, the groups will be individually presented with a small performance. Afterward, there will be an aftershow party in the tent at the central parking lot, where no one has to be scared anymore with DJ music, food, and drinks.
