Event Sellroaner Tuifl run with St Nicholas procession

“Gemma Tuifl schaun?” is the phrase you’ll hear in Sellrain when the Sellroaner Tuifl invite everyone to their spooky festivities. While Krampus and Perchten are up to their usual mischief elsewhere, it’s the devil (known in the local dialect as “Tuifl”) who’s running wild in the Sellrain Valley. After the performances, everyone gathers to warm up, eat, and drink together in the Höl… um… in the heated “Tuifl Tent,” of course!
