easy to medium-difficulty snowshoe hike
We meet directly in front of the Lermoos Tourist Office. After a brief introduction to the subject, we take the village bus to the end of town Gries and walk the last stretch to the old valley station of the Puiten lift in Lermoos Untergarten. There, it’s time to strap on our snowshoes, and off we go, leaving our tracks through the white wilderness. With clear visibility, we are rewarded with a magnificent view over the valley basin and a short break. No path is visible, no sound to hear other than the crunching beneath our snowshoes. From here, we descend about 150 meters in elevation toward the valley, where everyone can make their own track in the snowy field.
Our endpoint is the valley station of the Grubigbahn.
