The literary festival Sprachsalz brings important authors from all over the world to Kufstein. For three days, contemporary literary voices have the floor.
Every year, the literary festival Sprachsalz invites a selection of international authors whose texts touch and inspire. Guests include well-known writers as well as newcomers from all over the world. There are readings every hour for three days, as well as book signing opportunities, talks and readings for children. The culinary-literary Sprachsalz evening takes place on the Saturday of the festival. Incidentally, this is the only event that costs admission. This is because Sprachsalz and its dedicated team continue to make it possible for all readings to be attended free of charge.
The literature festival has been running since 2003 and has been taking place in Kufstein since 2024. The Sprachsalz team puts together the program with great passion and all curators are characterized by an irrepressible hunger for reading - this is how the very personal selection for the festival comes about.
