Event Stuiben Trailrun

Tyrol's largest waterfall, the Stuibenfall near Umhausen in Ötztal, forms the heart of this trail running event.

Description

Regardless of the distance chosen, the 728 steps at the 159-metre-high Stuiben Falls must always be climbed. The longest route, the Stuiben Trail 42K (44.1 km, 3,100 m), leads from Umhausen over the waterfall, up to the Narrenkogel, into the Horlachtal, into the Grastal and down to the plain near Längenfeld. Together with the shorter 12K and 24K routes and the Widi Trailrun for children, this marathon trail run takes place on Saturday. The Stuiben Sprint (4 km, 450 m) also takes place the evening before.
