Roman jewellery fascinates with its variety and timeless beauty. The exhibition “Timeless Beauty” showcases precious jewellery spanning 500 years of Roman history from historic Tyrol, now the Tyrol–South Tyrol–Trentino European Region.
Brooches, rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces and hairpins tell stories of fashion and dress, social status and cultural identity. Twelve “treasure boxes” introduce visitors to the different types of jewellery and reveal more about where they were discovered, from settlements and places of worship to burial sites.
