Description

Thousands of theater fans flock to the Dramatists Festival in Tyrol every two years. Tyrolean theater and stage authors as well as guest playwrights have been presenting their best works there since 2002. Whether a staged reading, workshop or world premiere, the focus here is on the creation of a play and the exchange between the audience and playwrights. New perspectives in bold texts characterize the performances.

Characteristic of the festival is the reference to the region, be it biographical or thematic. The venues in Tyrol are anything but conventional. They offer a special stage for the social, societal or political issues of the performances and create a festival vibe.
