Description

See Watersurf Contest & Sunset Beats at Medrigalm

On 27 March 2027, brave winter sports enthusiasts are invited to take part in the legendary Watersurf Contest in the Paznaun ski area of See and compete for a prize of €2,000.

The rules of “watersurfing” are simple: if you fall into the water, you’re out – whoever stays dry the longest wins. The event kicks off at 11:00 am at the mid-station of the See cable cars. Creativity is especially rewarded in the “Crazy Outfit” category or with additional show performances.

All ski and snowboard enthusiasts who don’t mind getting wet are welcome to take part – whether on skis, a snowboard or with creative homemade constructions. Participants surf across an icy pool until the first contestants plunge into the freezing water. After each round, the run-up gets shorter until only the very best remain. Whoever manages to stay dry the longest in the final round claims victory.

From around 3:00 pm, an electro DJ will provide the perfect end to the ski day with the Sunset Beats.
