Event Zugspitz Ultratrail

Description

Trail runners from more than 60 countries compete each year in the Salomon Zugspitz Ultratrail. A total of seven races take place around the Zugspitze. The premier event is the 100-mile ZUT100 race, covering 164 kilometers and more than 8,000 meters of elevation gain. The shortest course is the Grainau Trail, at 16 kilometers and 760 meters of elevation gain.

Live music, evening events, a large exhibition showcasing the latest in running gear, culinary delights at the food court, and, of course, the award ceremonies all contribute to the festival-like atmosphere of the Salomon Zugspitz Ultratrail.
