Take the regional bus to Maurach (lines 8332, 4080 or 390) and get off at the "Maurach a. A. Rofan Seilbahn" stop. Ascent by gondola.
Cosy little alpine hut at 1,840 metres – located right next to the Rofan cable car top station, featuring a large sun terrace and beautiful mountain views.
The Almstüberl Rofan is a small, cosy alpine hut perfect for rounding off a Rofan tour or simply enjoying a break. Its spacious sun terrace offers sweeping views of the surrounding mountains. The kitchen serves up typical Tirolean dishes, complemented by homemade cakes and strudel. A special treat: Fresh game specialities are available starting 1 August.
