Those seeking peace and relaxation will find it here, as the only sounds accompanying the steps of the hikers are the gentle bubbling of water and the ringing of the bells from the grazing animals.

Rewarding ascents, such as to the Leutkircher Hut at 2,251 m and the Stuttgart Hut at 2,310 m, can be easily reached directly from the Bodenalm.

The Bodenalm is open from early June to mid-September.
