The Bernhardseckhütte at 1,812 m is a privately managed hut in the Lechtal Nature Park region, surrounded by the Allgäu Alps to the north and the Lechtal Alps to the south. The hut can be reached from Elbigenalp after an approx. 2 ½ hour ascent along forest and gravel paths with a difference in altitude of approx. 750 m. Visitors are rewarded with a magnificent view and an all-round panorama. Due to its location, it is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes and mountain tours. The Bernhardseckhütte is run by Iveta and Armin Hummel and their team. The hut offers hikers and nature lovers peaceful and cozy accommodation in the midst of an impressive Alpine landscape.
