Description

The Böglalm has been catering to winter sports and summer hikers for over 30 years. They source their ingredients for their numerous classical Tyrolean dishes such as Kasspatzl'n, Tiroler Gröst'l, Schnitzel, Knödel and more from local suppliers only. Additionally, they serve an excellent homemade alpine breakfast, which you should pre-order the day before (+43 664 9161743). These regional delicacies taste even better at 1220m - unique views towards the Kitzbüheler Alps included.

Böglalm in summer

The Böglalm is easily accessible on foot for everyone during the summer, with no significant effort required. To get there, follow the signs for the "Rundwanderweg Böglalm" or take the "stroller-friendly" route.

Böglalm in winter

In winter, you can ski directly to the hut as it is located right on the slope of the Pöglbahn middle station. After skiing, warm up with a mulled wine or Jagertee at the hut.

Tip

Try the „Alpbacher Kasspazl“ - known beyond the borders - fresh out of the BIGGEST FRYING PAN ON THE MOUNTAIN! Another speciality is their roast chicken fresh off the „spit“.
