Description

The Furggesalm is a mountain hut and working mountain farm located 1,938 metres above sea level. A number of animals graze in the surrounding meadows and the owners produce their own alpine delicacies. Visitors can sample these specialities during a visit to the hut.

The route up to the Furggesalm is not very difficult. It starts in the hotel car park Fotschertal above the town of Sellrain and leads left along a forest road towards the Potsdamer Hütte mountain hut. After 300 metres, the trail to the Furggesalm branches off to the left. The walking time is one and a half hours.

Open from mid-June to mid-September.
