Arrival by public transport
Take the regional bus (lines 4080 or 390) to the “Achenwald Staatsgrenze” bus stop. From there, walk back for around 190m to the Grenzstüberl Kasa Hansl.

Follow the Achensee main road (B181) through Achenkirch towards Achen Pass/Germany. From Achenkirch parish church, it is another 8.4km to the Grenzstüberl Kasa Hansl. The restaurant is located directly on the main road in Achenwald, shortly before the German border.
