The Heiterwanger Hochalm, beautifully situated on the Almkopfjoch, with a magnificent panoramic view of the
Zugspitz massif and the Lechtal Alps, is the starting point for comfortable hikes and mountain bike tours.
Located directly at the mountain stations of the Sonnalmbahn and the Almkopfbahn. The self-service hut is known for
its Austrian specialties such as Germ- or Speckknödel, Kaiserschmarren and Brettljausen.
The hut is rustic furnished and offers space for up to 140 people, 300 guests can enjoy the view on the large sun terrace.
