The alpine hut of Helga is situated at the idyllic end of the valley of the mountaineering village of Vals in the middle of the Natura2000 protected area. The dairymaid looks after her her herd of goats there in the first place, but she is also very happy to welcome guests (with registration!).

Description

The alpine hut is located on the slope above the parking area "Geraer Hütte" with about 5 minutes walking distance to the hut. Helga makes goat walks, alpine snacks and tastings of her homemade goat cheese. In addition, Helga is a trained sommelière and always has a good bottle of wine on her alpine pasture. She also produces her own juices and lemonades. Details of all offers can be found on her website.

Helga's Alm is also the basis for the "School of the alp", where volunteer alpine pasture students learn in a 3-day course the activities on the alp, such as scythe mowing or fence putting.
