The Hochthörle hut is located directly at the foot of the Wetterstein mountains.

The hut with its large sun terrace and children's playground is very easy to reach for both hikers and mountain bikers.
In winter, the hut can only be reached via the winter hiking trail from the valley station of the Tiroler Zugspitzbahn or the Söldental trail.
