Description

The Lamsenjochhütte is a historic DAV mountain hut in the Karwendel, at an altitude of 1,953 metres. First built in 1906, it was rebuilt in 1908 following avalanche damage – today it is modernly equipped and has been awarded the environmental sealof approval.

• Popular with hikers and day trippers: accessible from Engalm or Gramaialm
• Impressive neighbour: the Lamsenspitze (for experienced mountaineers only)
• Surroundings: Hochnissl, Sonnjoch, Schafjöchl
• A prominent base for crossings of the Karwendel
