The pasture is located at the end of the valley from the mountaineering village Gschnitztal at an altitude of 1,472 m, surrounded by numerous mountain peaks.
The Laponesalm is an easily accessible excursion destination - you can either walk from the parking area at Gasthof Feuerstein to the alpine pasture (approx. 1 h) on the road or hiking trail or you can go there by mountain bike. For those who prefer the easy way to reach the pasture, the comfortable Almtaxi (Tel: +43 (0) 664 / 16 34 190) is at your disposal.
One culinary highlight after another awaits you on the alpine pasture: from homemade dumplings, Kaiserschmarrn and game specialities to cakes and strudels. Warm cuisine all day long!
