Description

Quaint, cozy, and sociable - the Latschenhütte is situated at an altitude of 1,635 meters in the hiking region of Hoch-Imst and has been a staple of the landscape for over eight decades. It is known for the warm hospitality of the hut owner Waltraud and the typical Tyrolean cuisine. The spinach dumplings, the beuschel, and the sweet mountain pancake with apple sauce are particularly recommended. Several hiking trails lead to the Latschenhütte, offering suitable routes for every fitness level – from leisurely ascents to more challenging tours.

Starting Point
Hiking from the parking lot Hoch-Imst (valley station Imster Bergbahnen) either via the toboggan run (forest road) or the Ursprungweg (mushroom path) to the Untermarkter Alm. From the middle station, the path continues to the Latschenhütte, where the magnificent mountain scenery can be enjoyed. Especially suitable for families and seniors.
