The Muttekopfhütte (1,934 m) is situated in a wonderful panoramic location on the Lechtaler Höhenweg, the Adlerweg and the E4 long-distance hiking trail.

Description

Directions: Long-distance hikers along the Lechtaler Höhenweg often come to us from the Hahntennjoch (Anhalter Hütte). This trail is also an insider tip for everyone else. Take the hiking bus to the Hahntennjoch and hike either via the Scharnitz Sattel (high alpine trail, approx. 2 hours) or the Fundaistal to the Muttekopfhütte.
