Description

The Rappenseehütte is a shelter of the German Alpine Club, Section Kempten.
We offer hearty cuisine and mostly use regional products.

The hut is an ideal starting point for the Heilbronner Weg to the Waltenberger Haus or the Kemptner Hütte.
Enjoy the wonderful flora and fauna around the hut and the beautifully located Rappensee (5 minutes from the hut). The panorama overlooking the Widderstein, the Mindelheimer Klettersteig, and Oberstdorf will amaze you.

Directions: From Lechleiten via Mutzentoben about 3 hours walking time, and from Steeg (district of Prenten) via Hochalptal about 4 hours walking time.
