Description

Winter at the Rübezahl-Alm (1,172m)
Visit us with your skis directly at the Hartkaiser valley descent. You can also hike to us on foot; via the district of Faistenbichl and the forestry road, you'll reach us in about 1.5 hours from the village. (The gondola will remain at the middle station from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM until further notice; from there, it's a 25-minute walk to the Rübezahl-Alm).

Summer at the Rübezahl-Alm (1,172m)
Daily, except for Wednesday and Thursday (except on public holidays), breakfast from 9 to 11 AM - only with TELEPHONIC RESERVATION possible!

By foot or with the gondola to the Rübe:
A cozy hike from the valley station of the Hartkaiserbahn (about 1.5 hours walking time - hiking path No. 7) or via the district of Faistenbichl and hiking path No. 3 uphill (about 1.5 hours) or via the Rübezahl wooden figure trail from the Hartkaiser mountain station downhill (about 1 hour walking time). The Rübezahl-Alm is also accessible by gondola - disembark at the middle station (available from mid-June to mid-October between 10:00 AM and 4:45 PM) and then take hiking path No. 4 (walking time 15-20 min). Disembarking and boarding are only possible during the ascent.

At the Rübezahl-Alm, you can fully enjoy the mountain summer. The hut, built in 1778, was originally a cow stable; today, the Rübezahl-Alm is widely known for its rustic atmosphere and a huge amount of fun! Not even bad weather can spoil your mood at the Rübe, as you can simply celebrate at the "Sauwetter-Gaudi" in the former cow stable.
