Description

The Seaper Alm is located in the Padastertal valley near Steinach, an eastern uninhabited side valley of the Wipptal in the Tuxer Alps. The Padastertal is also known for the excavated earth dump of the Brenner Base Tunnel in the front part of the valley. The alpine pasture can be reached via a theme path (Panoramaweg Padastertal) with information panels where you can take a close look at the dump (turnoff at the back of the valley). However, the alpine pasture is situated above a forest and therefore in a quiet and relaxing position.

The alpine pasture can also be reached by MTB via a forest path, which branches off the Steinach - St. Jodok cycle path a little further south of the Wendelin chapel in Siegreith.
