Description

Welcome to Sonnalm – your dream spot at 1,800m

The Sonnalm is a unique refuge in the midst of the breathtaking Lechtal Alps. It offers not only an impressive view but also an incomparable nature experience. On the spacious sun terrace, you can enjoy stunning sunsets as an overnight guest in the evening and start your day with a fascinating sunrise in the morning.

The Alm is located directly in the ski and hiking area Jöchelspitze and is a perfect starting point for numerous activities. In winter, the skiing experience starts right at the door, and snowshoe hikes through snowy forests are an unforgettable experience. The path to the Alm can be taken in winter with snowshoes, touring skis, or comfortably with the new 8-person gondola . In summer, numerous hiking trails invite you to explore. In summer, don’t miss the guided flower and herb hikes with a visit to the Lechtal Alpine Herb Museum.

EPPAS GUATS:
No visit to Sonnalm would be complete without the legendary, homemade Kaiserschmarren. This Austrian specialty is prepared with love and according to a traditional recipe, served with fruity apple sauce – a true taste experience!

Directions: From Bach or Holzgau, it takes 2 hours of hiking and about 1.5 hours from the Bernhardseckhütte.
Sonnalm is the ideal destination for hikers, sunbathers, and flower lovers. The Sonnalm is located directly at the mountain station of the Lechtal cable car and can thus be reached comfortably by lift.
