Throughout history, the names of the inn changed and the owners changed. But the beauty of the house remained unchanged over the centuries! And it seems like a miracle that this unique house was spared in the great fire of the city of Schwaz in 1809.

For decades the inn stood empty. After a long - but loving and detailed - renovation by the company Hörhager - the inn was reopened in June 2019.

Christoph Noggler and Marcel Gärtner are the new hosts of the Tippeler, who together with their young and motivated team entertain the guests in the historic rooms of the Gasthof Tippeler.

Today, not only the beautiful rooms inspire: this combination of good inn cuisine with a difference and the finest drinks is unique in the silver city.

In addition to the highest quality in the kitchen and cellar, the inn is also known for its hospitality. The success proves the innkeepers right: Gault&Millau has awarded the inn one toque in the 2021 restaurant guide.
