Description

The rustic Stöfflhütte at 1,148 m has been built more than 350 years ago on the Walleralm at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser. Today, just like 350 years ago, the stables are managed by us during the summer months, and our cows graze on the juicy meadows around our hut. Using old recipes, we make our cheese and buttermilk here. Guests have always been welcome at the Alm. Today more than ever. Holidaymakers, weekend travelers, mountain hikers, strollers, climbers, and mountain bikers meet here and find relaxation from everyday life.

After a tour in the open nature and in the fresh mountain air, we pamper you with our hearty snack of bacon, cheese and Kaminwurzen, homemade bread and cake, as well as many other delicacies from our regional cuisine. Whether in the guest room or on the sunny terrace, from early morning to sunset, the Stöfflhütte is a hut simply to feel good and relax. The Stöfflhütte also offers a lot of homemade and self-produced items for breakfast. Homemade bread, cheese and buttermilk made according to old recipes, bacon, Kaminwurzen, homemade cake, and not to mention the self-brewed breakfast beer provide a balanced breakfast.

Hot meals are available daily from 08:00 to 16:00.

Only open in summer from May to October. Closed on Mondays in the low season (April, May, June, October).
