Family holiday in Zell-Gerlos

All good things come in fives. That's how many adventure worlds there are in the Zillertal side valley of Zell-Gerlos. But that's not all: in the valley as well as on the mountain, numerous other adventures await in addition to refreshment.

Mountain railways in summer

These four lifts take families up the mountain in comfort in summer too. You can reach the Fichtenschloss and the Fichtensee lake on the Rosenalmbahn cable car. The Isskogelbahn cable car takes you up, including your mountain bike, and down again on the Iss-Flow-Singletrail with lots of fun.

Travelling sustainably

  • The nearest railway station with national and international train connections is Jenbach. From there, the Zillertalbahn railway runs to Zell am Ziller, followed by regular bus connections to the high valley of Gerlos via the Christophorus bus.
  • A well-developed public transport network of buses and trains is available throughout the Zillertal, including direct bus connections to the valley stations of the cable cars and other towns in the Zillertal Arena
  • With the mobile guest card "Zell-Gerlos TopCard" or the accommodation booking confirmation, the public bus between Zell, Gerlos and Königsleiten as well as the Arena Shuttle can often be used free of charge
