Käthrer", the farm name goes back well over 150 years, when a certain Katherina Hörbst "Käthr'" gave the name to our farm, now more than six generations ago.
Already in the eighties of the last century the dairy cows gave way to breeding sows. A big change came with the switch to direct marketing ten years later. And finally, we recognized the need for the energy turnaround, so a modern biogas plant was put into operation in 2000. The children are also close to our hearts. For them, the barn door opens again and again and thus they can experience the topic of agriculture up close.
