The history of fishing in Leutasch:

First documented mention in 1500 as a property of the sovereign
1768 assigned to the Hörtenberg dominion, Polling monastery
1814 reassignment to North Tyrol various changing owners/lessees
1932 Purchase by grandfather Dr. H. Gallop
1970 Takeover by Herbert Gallop

After the fishery had reached its present size in the last 30 years through Herbert Gallop, the business was taken over by his nephew Dr. Thomas Angerer in Oct. 2004.
We are an agricultural family business with the highest personal commitment. Our employees and we ourselves always strive to maintain the high quality standard.

Our 24h vending machine with "fresh and smoked fish and more" is of course also there for you outside opening hours!
