It doesn't get any fresher than this: the Fischladele at Weidachsee in Leutasch serves trout and char from the adjacent fishing lake. For a fee, you can go fishing yourself - even without a fishing license - and take your catch home with you.
Visit our fish shop and get trout, salmon-colored trout, or char! Available as whole fish or filleted. Also enjoy our exquisite smoked specialties; we have everything your heart desires.
In our 24h vending machine, you will be supplied with smoked specialties around the clock!
The current opening hours can always be found at www.gebirgsforelle.at.
The history of the Leutasch fisheries:
First documented mention in 1500 as ducal property
1768 assigned to the rule of Hörtenberg, Kloster Polling
1814 reincorporation into North Tyrol various changing owners/tenants
1932 purchased by Grandfather Dr. H. Gallop
1970 taken over by Herbert Gallop
After the fishery reached its current size through Herbert Gallop in the last 30 years, the business was taken over in October 2004 by his nephew Dr. Thomas Angerer.
We are an agricultural family business with the highest personal commitment; our employees and we ourselves are always striving to maintain the high quality standard.
