Costumes & Traditional, Lifestyle & decoration

The Frauenschuh family store in Kitzbühel is one of those stores where you could spend hours. The smell of leather, the fine fabrics and materials, the handmade clothing and home accessories make time fly by. If you can't find the piece you want, you can have it made in the in-house workshop.

We recommend because:

  • Old craftsmanship with modern demands
  • In-house workshop in Kitzbühel

Description

Elisabeth Frauenschuh and Matthäus Stern are the third generation to run the company.
Their aim is to preserve the beauty of traditional techniques and combine them with contemporary design. Each piece bears the signature of its origin, crafted in their own studio or in selected manufactories, from materials that are treated with respect and refined in mindful, environmentally conscious processes.

Hans Frauenschuh stands for consistency, for the quiet elegance of the handmade, for respect for materials and people, and for the conviction that true quality stands the test of time.

Deer leather is our origin. Our studio in Kitzbühel has always been a place where unique pieces with character are created – clothing, furniture and accessories, united by the same signature style. They convey calm, invite you to feel them and create clarity. True quality speaks when everything else falls silent.
