Authentic Pitztal bee honey and propolis available.
Johann and Rosemarie Genewein live on the southern slopes of the Venet massif, in the municipality of Wenns. The couple has been keeping bees since 1968. They divide the work between them: Johann acts as the caretaker of the bee colonies, while his wife, Rosemarie, handles the bottling of the honey and the production of propolis drops and creams. She even casts the honeycomb foundations herself using their own beeswax—a practice that has become quite rare—and uses any leftover wax to craft fragrant candles.
Their love for nature and their bees is reflected in the quality of their products; they have been awarded two gold seals of quality by the Tyrolean Beekeepers' Association.
