Shopping PowerPlants - Regional Cress from Tyrol

With PowerPlants, we want to grow cress and young lettuce right where they're needed—right here in Landeck.

Description

Although cress products have long been established in the food service industry and retail sector, they often come from Germany, the Netherlands, or production facilities even further away. Our goal is to offer a regional alternative that is competitively priced and, at the same time, offers many advantages: short transport distances, greater sustainability, high delivery reliability, and the ability to respond flexibly to orders, even on short notice.

We place particular emphasis on production methods that conserve resources as much as possible. Our products are delivered through a deposit system, which
allows us to completely avoid single-use packaging and unnecessary packaging waste. The crates are reused after being returned and thus remain in the
regional cycle. For us, this is a key part of our vision: producing regionally, minimizing transportation distances, and generating as little waste as possible."

Our Products & Where to Buy

We grow various varieties of cress as well as small, young baby greens—fresh, locally sourced, and grown right here in Landeck. Our products are particularly well-suited for the restaurant industry, the hospitality sector, and food retailers, but private customers can also purchase our cress directly from us.

For restaurants and commercial customers, our products are available through our partner Winkler GmbH, Ötztal Bahnhof, which has supported us in our project from the very beginning. Private customers can easily pick up the products directly from us by prior arrangement—either by sending a quick message via WhatsApp (+43 677 62893847) or by stopping by our location on the spot.

Since we consistently avoid single-use packaging, our products are distributed through our deposit system. The crates are collected, reused, and put back into circulation. This allows us to avoid unnecessary packaging waste even for direct pickups—thus fitting perfectly into the regional waste prevention strate
