The shop has been in family ownership for about 150 years , we offer regional products from nature or partially from our own agriculture. All our homemade products are made by us gently, traditionally and with natural ingredients, without chemicals and flavor enhancers.

We live and work all year round from and in nature. Over many years, inherited and personal knowledge has accumulated, which we utilize. We keep bees, which gift us wonderful honey. We collect various wild herbs and fruits to make our own herbal tea, infuse liqueurs , distill schnapps, cook juices and create various spice blends for bacon, sausages, fish and pork roast.

Especially popular are products from our own smokehouse (Selch). In the traditional way, various cuts of meat are rubbed by hand with a special spice blend and placed in wooden barrels. After 4-6 weeks the pickled meat is hung, then air-dried and cold-smoked. After several months of ripening time, our bacon is ready for sale. We also smokesmoked sausage, fillets, lamb and venison ham.
